🌟 Healthcare Hero Spotlight: Peak Path Chiropractic 🌟

Macon Volunteer Clinic is proud to recognize Peak Path Chiropractic as one of our 2026 Healthcare Heroes!

Led by sisters Dr. Rebecca Saunders and Amber Sproule, Peak Path Chiropractic is rooted in a passion for holistic, individualized care. Through their expertise in chiropractic treatment and integrative nutrition, they are committed to helping patients address the root causes of health challenges and achieve lasting wellness.

Since November 2024, their team has generously partnered with Macon Volunteer Clinic, providing referred patients with chiropractic care and nutritional counseling. With more than 340 volunteer hours between them to date, along with numerous follow-up visits to support lasting progress, their dedication has expanded access to specialized care for our patients.

We are incredibly grateful for their compassion, commitment, and heart for service, and for the meaningful impact they continue to make in the lives of those we serve. 💙

🌟 Healthcare Hero Spotlight: Dr. Katherine Sylvester 🌟

Macon Volunteer Clinic is proud to recognize Dr. Katherine Sylvester as one of our 2026 Healthcare Heroes!

Dr. Sylvester, affectionately known as “The Mommy Monitor,” is a physical therapist, preeclampsia survivor, and passionate advocate for compassionate, individualized care. Through her professional work and personal experiences, she has dedicated her career to ensuring that every patient is treated with intention, dignity, and care as unique as their own story.

Since January 2024, Dr. Sylvester has faithfully served our patients as a volunteer physical therapist, providing in-house care to individuals across a wide range of mobility needs. Her expertise, encouragement, and genuine compassion have made a profound impact on those we serve—and our patients consistently share how much her care means to them.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Sylvester’s heart for service and her commitment to improving lives in our community. 💙

This week marks one year of seeing our first few patients in our brand new building. Since then, we’ve been able to provide care to over 250 patients within these walls. 🧡

What started as a vision has grown into a space filled with healing, hope, and compassion—made possible by an incredible community that believed in our mission.

A special thank you to Stroud and Company for the beautiful renovations that brought this space to life, and to every donor who made it possible. Your generosity has truly transformed what we’re able to do for our patients each and every day.

This first year in our new building has been a testament to all the amazing things still to come for Macon Volunteer Clinic—and we can’t wait to continue growing, serving, and making an impact together.

We Did It — And More!

Because of your incredible generosity, we not only reached our $20,000 Giving Tuesday goal — we surpassed it!
