Celebrating amazing teamwork in pediatric care!

We're excited to celebrate our Children's Hospital Outpatient Services (CHOPS) team at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital for winning Atrium Health Navicent's Better Together Award through Advocate Health's Nursing Excellence Awards.

CHOPS is dedicated to caring for kids and their families in a welcoming, supportive environment. We're especially proud that this incredible team was recently recognized as a Center of Excellence for its advancement of the care provided to sedated patients.

There were smiles all around at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital as our amazing friends from the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department brought the holiday spirit right to our patients’ windows!

Santa Claus, The Grinch and Elf On The Shelf made special appearances, even visiting our youngest patients outside the windows of the NICU.

What a magical day of cheer and happy memories!🎅 🚒 ✨

Waylon, a brave 10-year-old oncology patient from Ellaville, and his family, have been so touched by the care at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital that they decided to give back in a big way! ❤️

They led a wonderful donation drive for hospital patients. So many generous gifts poured in that it took a whole U-Haul trailer to deliver everything from Ellaville. 🎁

Huge thanks to Waylon, his family, and everyone who helped make a difference!

Born with gastroschisis, Kaylee spent three months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. Gastroschisis is a rare condition where a baby's intestines or stomach exit their body through a hole beside their belly button. After three surgeries, she’s now thriving as a cheerleader, student-athlete and Top 10 finalist in the USA National Miss Teen pageant!

👑Last month, she cheered Southwest Georgia Academy on as they played for a state football championship in Macon, just a few miles from the hospital where she spent her earliest days.

This summer, she gave back by donating more than 100 Special Belly Button Club Books to help kids born with gastroschisis. Her dream? To become a NICU nurse and care for tiny patients like she once was. 💖

We had such an exciting day when the Robins Air Force Base Fire Department visited us! They spread so much cheer at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital by handing out fun gifts to our amazing patients. Plus, everyone loved meeting their mascot, Sparky, and their adorable robot dog, Spot!
