Born in September 2024 at just two pounds and 14 ounces, Cameron spent his earliest days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital.

Today, Cameron is thriving and full of energy thanks to the amazing care he received.

To show their gratitude, Cameron's family surprised the wonderful NICU team at Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital by donating snacks for our teammates and other items for NICU patients.

Finding hope closer to home ❤️

After being diagnosed with Leukemia, 7-year-old Smruti and her parents needed hope and reassurance as they navigated the next steps for seeking care. They were relieved to know that she could receive comprehensive pediatric cancer care close to home at Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon.

Following her diagnosis, Smruti started her cancer treatment in February 2024 where she was met by the amazing team at Bevery Knight Olson Children’s Hospital that was ready to care for her and her family. “It is really amazing the way they treated me and my family,” shares Minaxi, her mother.

Throughout Smruti’s treatment, her care team made her feel right at home — creating a space where she could do things she loves like drawing, playing “doctor” and finding time to celebrate every win with her and her family. Minaxi shares that Smruti has not only progressed in her health, but has also grown in her faith as a result of the wonderful care and support she’s received, and she is very grateful to have done it all while staying closer to home.

From chemotherapy to physical therapy, Smruti has powered through many challenges with great faith and a radiant smile. She continues to regain her strength and remains optimistic through every step of her journey.

Cheers to Dalton!🔔

Earlier this year, he finished his final round of chemo after bravely facing Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In August, he got to ring the bell at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon, GA, marking the end of his treatment.
