Fact of the day!

It’s Foot Health Fact Friday. While most people have 26 bones in each foot, some people have extra bones or accessory ossicles, either from birth or from trauma. They can be painless but sometimes they are painful and cause significant discomfort. Pain can be treated by a foot and ankle surgeon using a variety of non-surgical measures, although sometimes the extra bones may need to be surgically removed.
