Congratulations to our January Employee of the Month! It is well-deserved, Robyn.

Robyn is a medical assistant and has been with the Jones Center for 18 years. She is from Forsyth, GA, and has been married to Scott for 14 years. They have a 10-year-old son named Luke.

Robyn works primarily as a phone assistant. The part of her job she enjoys the most is helping patients get their much-needed medications approved by insurance. She excels at this because she doesn’t give up easily and doesn’t like to take “no” for an answer. Most people probably don’t realize this, but she spends a lot of time talking to patients about how to choose the best insurance plan to meet their needs. She enjoys seeing patients achieve good results and better health. She was especially proud of helping a co-worker’s father obtain coverage for his medication.

Her husband Scott is a minister and a bus driver. She spends a lot of time at church with her family. Her son Luke likes to read and play video games. They have two dogs, Max and Mow Mow. Her hobbies include reading and watching true crime documentaries. People would be surprised to learn she considers herself a “nerd.” On a day off, she enjoys relaxing by watching TV or reading. Her favorite shows right now are Law and Order SVU, Dateline NBC, and Bridgerton. She loves to vacation at Disney World whenever she can. Her favorite food is pizza, especially from Ingleside Village Pizza, and her favorite drinks are Coke Zero and energy drinks. If she wasn’t working in healthcare, she thinks she would be working in criminal justice, either as a legal assistant or even a lawyer.

In addition to working full time at the Jones Center, Robyn is pursuing her associate’s degree in science and nursing from Central Georgia Technical College and is in the process of applying to the nursing program.
