A few things happened today. Some good and some pretty funny!! The weather was so very nice so we did take a small walk, Christmas has started to arrive at day program, Sherie is so very short lol and our Rumba took a trip outside!! Yes we left the front door open for the fresh air!!

Today everyone filled out their Christmas wish lists. We will be doing a secret Santa and we are so excited!! Staff took everyone to Moberly to MACC to a craft show!! There were a couple of very generous vendors who gifted the individuals with a couple of items. They were so happy!!

Today was a trip to a beautiful bridge in Paris,MO then a painting class with Felicia!! So much fun!!

So proud of our individuals!! They all worked incredibly hard today at the Macon Food Pantry! Every single one of them worked hard with smiles and laughter! We love volunteering and making our little spot on the map a better place!! Oh and we did Turkey pots yesterday and Allie baked cookies and danced!!

We have so much to be thankful for! Our individuals who share their days and lives with us and the families who support them and us in so many ways. Today we celebrated with a delicious Thanksgiving dinner celebration! Today we were blessed with those family coming together to spend the afternoon with us at Sunflower Meadows. Thank you to each and every one of you for sharing your peeps with us!! We love you all

Today was turkey crafts and getting ready for our Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday!! We are so excited to celebrate the holiday with our Sunflower Meadows individuals and their families!!

Happy Halloween from all of us at Sunflower Meadows. Yesterday and today were difficult days for all of us as we are mourning a very sweet friend. We will remember her everyday. We made homemade pizza and we went trick or treating downtown Macon. We would like to thank all of the businesses who participated and were so kind to our day program and individuals! We had a blast!!
