Hospice Care Options

Hospice Care Options We provide compassionate care to the terminally ill patient, allowing death with peace and dignity.

“Service to our neighbors in need”

Those simple few words uttered by Georgia pharmacist, Freddie Dwozan, has been the guiding credo of the organization since the start of the original hospice agency in 1997. Each of our team members holds our founding theme of service to others above self as the most fundamental principal in their daily activities. Our focus is to help our patients and families during this difficult time with the talents and skills we possess. We place all our efforts
here in the Georgia communities in which we each live and work, to serve our neighbors and fellow Georgians. We humbly respect the stewardship responsibility we have in this endeavor. Many hospice agencies exist, but Hospice Care Options is unique. It is one of a handful of family owned agencies in the state. All decisions are made locally at the agency level, not in a corporate office in another state. The company operates in 41 Georgia counties with agencies located in Eastman, Macon, Warner Robins, Milledgeville, and Ocilla. They have a large reach, with the most caring and skillful staff found anywhere. Hospice Care Options is your best choice to provide care and comfort when faced with a life limiting illness.

On January 1, we celebrate 47 years of hard work, heart, and legacy built by Freddie and his wife, Rhonda.

While Hospice Care Options hasn’t been around that long, the spirit behind it, a deep commitment to caring for others, has been part of their story from the beginning.

Freddie has spent decades serving the people of Georgia, first as a pharmacist and later as the founder of Hospice Care Options. With Rhonda by his side, he has created more than a company, he has built a legacy of compassion and community care that continues to grow.

Thank you both for leading with love and for making a difference in countless lives.

Meet Brookie the Bear, a big, soft teddy bear with a very special purpose. Named in memory of a beautiful little girl we once cared for, Brookie the Bear is part of a Foundation-funded project that brings comfort to grieving children in the families and communities we serve.

Each Brookie Bear is given alongside child-friendly grief literature to help young hearts begin to understand loss and learn ways to cope. With every hug, Brookie reminds children that it’s okay to feel sad, and that love, even after loss, is always near.

A hug, a story, and a soft place to land, that’s what Brookie brings.
