Change isn’t easy. The moment you decide to grow into a healthier, stronger, better version of yourself, life pushes back. The first 30 days are always the hardest, and that’s where most people quit.

Don’t give up too soon. Push through the hard days, the doubt, the discomfort. On the other side of those 30 days is breakthrough, momentum, and real transformation.

Keep going. You’re closer than you think!

Have you ever noticed the instructions on an airplane? If oxygen masks are needed, you’re told to put yours on first before helping others- even your child. ✈️

Why?

Because you can’t help anyone if you’ve passed out yourself. The same is true in life: we can’t pour into others if we’re running on empty. Taking care of yourself—physically, emotionally, spiritually—isn’t selfish, it’s essential.

Your financial partnership is critical to us taking advantage of this opportunity. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for all modifcations and repairs. You can give at www.nextstepmin.org or you can call Debbie at 478-284-1422 or email at dbartow@nextstepmin.org to give.

💙 This year, we’ve witnessed men take courageous steps toward freedom from addiction, rebuild relationships, find purpose, and discover hope through Christ. Every transformed life is a reminder of why Next Step exists—and why your support matters.

As 2025 comes to an end, we’re asking you to prayerfully consider making a year-end gift to help us continue this life-changing work. Your generosity directly supports:

✨ Safe, stable housing
✨ Christ-centered recovery programs
✨ Job readiness and life-skills training
✨ Counseling, mentorship, and community support
✨ Men who are fighting every day to build a new future

Thank you for believing in Next Step and thank you for helping us offer a path to lasting transformation.

We often struggle to love ourselves because we know our own flaws, failures, and shame better than anyone else. But God sees us differently. He calls us His children, made in His image, worthy of love.

When shame tells us we’re unworthy, we have to hold fast to who God says we are.

You are loved.

Caring for others starts with caring for ourselves. To pour into the lives of those around us, we have to stay strong—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

When we neglect our own well-being, it becomes harder to serve with love and endurance. Stay rooted, stay healthy, and let God refill you so you can keep showing up for others.
