Week #2 of Next Step's security upgrade. New fence and gates and installed. We were able to expand the room in the back of the property. New security doors still going in. New camera system scheduled for Monday. Next Step is always working to improve our facilities, our programming, and job opportunities for our me.

Encouragement isn’t always about how we feel in the moment. Sometimes we choose to encourage out of obedience and discipline, trusting that our heart will catch up. Over time, those choices form patterns and habits that shape us into genuine encouragers. Keep planting seeds of encouragement, even on the days it doesn’t come easy. You never know how God will use it in someone’s life.

As parents, we want to fix it. We want to fix our adult children when they make poor choices and fall into addiction. But the truth is, we can’t. We can love them, pray for them, and speak truth into their lives… but only God can redeem and transform them.

We can trust that He is always at work, both in our children and in us.
