Loch Haven would like to give the most sincerest thanks to all those individuals who ordered and purchased homemade chocolate covered strawberries this past Valentine's day. As it was our first time to do this fundraiser, we weren't exactly sure how successful this large project would turn out. We are happy to have seen so many people excited about our strawberries! The Alzheimeer's Fundraising Committee worked extremely hard to make each berry as beautiful and delicious as possible. Thank you for your support.

Residents of SCU have been feeling SUPER crafty lately- making Valentines, painting and putting small kits together. They love crafts so much they almost beg for more… we had to go digging in our stored craft kits for the scarecrow one. We realize you don’t see a lot of scarecrows in February, but it was one of their favorites to do!!

This morning the A.M. MACTEC health occupation class came by Loch Haven to meet some of our residents and get a feel for our building. Soon they will be spending some of their class time with us regularly! As our first activity together, we played a few games and some of our ladies got their fingernails painted. We enjoyed our time together!
