🌟Associate of the Week🌟

Congrats to Jessica Weaks, Certified Nursing Assistant, voted as Associate of the week !!🎉

When you sit down and talk with her, one thing that becomes clear is that her heart is in this work. She shared that her favorite part of the job is her residents, and it shows in the way she cares, connects, and shows up for them.

She’s also a Milledgeville, GA native who’s all about good energy and simple joys. This includes singing along to some good R&B (Keyshia Cole on repeat 🎶), to catching an episode of Let’s Make a Deal, and treating herself to her favorite seafood from Tasty Crab.

Her heart shines even brighter when she talks about her family. She calls her kids and grandson her team and lives by the saying, “It’s never them, it’s always us.” That same love and mindset carry into how she cares for others. She shared that being able to help someone in need is something that always makes her smile.

Another successful outreach!

Today at the Elaine Lucas Senior Center, our Administrator, Priscilla Buwee-Kwah, joined our Healthcare Navigator, Rose, to talk about the importance of having a support system as we age. Support systems can consist of family, a friend, a neighbor, or even a bingo buddy 💚.

She shared a heartfelt story about stepping in to help a family member get nursing home care when they needed it the most. Moments like these remind us that no one should navigate healthcare alone.

We wrapped up the session with Buddy Bingo, where everyone teamed up, shared laughs, and connected ✨.
