Last week, student volunteers from Commonwealth Charter Academy hosted a wonderful bingo event for our residents! Sitting together throughout the game led to laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of conversation that continued long after the final number was called. Our residents loved sharing stories and getting to know the students.
Intergenerational programming like this is so meaningful and important. It brings energy and a sense of community to our residents while giving younger generations the opportunity to listen and learn from elders. Programs like this remind us how powerful human connection is and how much joy it truly brings to everyone involved.
