Meet Grisela! She has been a valued member of the Complete Care at Lehigh family for over a decade. Beginning her journey as a CNA, she has since transitioned into her role as a dedicated Unit Clerk. From managing communications to supporting our clinical team, her organization and attention to detail make a meaningful difference every single day.

Grisela’s favorite part of her role is connecting with our residents—whether it’s sharing a simple coffee chat or building lasting relationships throughout their time with us. She is an incredible team player who truly embodies the collaborative spirit that makes our team so special.

Today is National Healthcare Decisions Day

This day is a reminder that your voice matters, especially when it comes to your health. Afterall, it is . Take time to talk with your loved ones, make your wishes known, and put your care preferences in writing. Planning ahead isn’t just smart, it’s an act of care. Here are five tips to help you have the right conversations.

1) You don't have to talk about everything, to everyone, all at once. The conversation of care should be an ongoing one as care journeys change.

2) Be patient. The idea of talking about healthcare directives can be overwhelming at first. Start off with small, quick conversations to get the ball rolling, and the longer, in-depth conversations will follow.

3) You don't have to lead the whole conversation. Allowing your loved ones to share their thoughts and concerns during these discussions is crucial. They may suggest something you hadn't yet considered.

4) Nothing you say is permanent. You can change your mind as often as you would like, but it starts with having conversations.

5) You may learn that your loved ones don't agree with your plans and wishes, and that's okay! The important thing is that you are having these conversations now and that you continue having them. This will ensure your loved ones will know your choices and follow through with them.

An afternoon of moving and grooving to some of their favorite songs was enjoyed by all at Complete Care at Lehigh !

Our wonderful entertainer, Lori Woodward, sparked so much joy and brought back so many cherished memories, filling our activity room with energy. Residents couldn't help but clap and sing along, reminding us that music has a special way of bringing everyone together. 🎶

It was quite the hoppy day at Complete Care at Lehigh!

If our recreation director, Kelly, had a dollar for every time she was asked if the kangaroo experience on the activity calendar was all April Fools' Day joke, she would have quite a handful! This was no joke, thanks to our friends from Serenity Hospice PA and Aldinger Farms, our residents were treated to an afternoon petting, snuggling, and learning all about these super adorable animals. It was such a wonderful time that brought so much joy and excitement to residents, families, and staff alike.
