Today we want to celebrate the incredible story of a strong and courageous mother, Rebeca M. Cervantes, who came to our Hospital and gave birth on September 8th, 2025.✨

Even though, our labor and delivery department isn’t open, our Emergency Department came together and ensured she had the safest and most positive birth experience possible. From the moment she arrived, every nurse, doctor, and support staff member worked as one, providing not just care, but comfort, encouragement, and warmth. She welcomed her beautiful baby girl into this world safe and sound!

It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do!💕

To this amazing mother-thank you for trusting us, and to our incredible team-thank you for going above and beyond!

🍓 Healthy Kids Cooking Class — A Fun & Tasty Experience!

Join us for a delightful one-hour Healthy Kids Cooking Class where
children learn to make nutritious treats while having a blast in the kitchen!

👩‍🍳 What’s Happening:
-Educational nutrition segment led by our Registered Dietitian
-Hands-on cooking session guided by our Executive Chef
-Kids will make Easy No-Bake Energy Balls and a refreshing Yogurt Fruit Pie

-Their own homemade creations

The Madera Community Hospital Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Sony Sidhu, DNP, MHA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, as the hospital’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Dr. Sidhu brings over two decades of experience in healthcare leadership, critical care, and hospital operations, most recently serving as CEO of Central Valley Specialty Hospital in Modesto. Known for her focus on strategic planning, operational excellence, and patient-centered care, she has led major hospital transformations, reduced employee turnover, and improved both clinical outcomes and team morale. Dr. Sidhu replaces Steve Stark, who will return to Gridley, California, to be closer to family now that the hospital has reopened. Steve was instrumental in the successful reopening of this facility and will continue to support certain projects to completion. “Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving this community,” he said. “We have built something extraordinary, and I will always be proud to have been a part of it.”
