Had a great time volunteering with Saluting Branches today at Great Lakes National Cemetery, this was a great experience not only as a Michigan Arborist but also as someone who has family honored within the grounds. We look forward to helping in the future years to come as well to show our support and gratitude.

We encourage everyone to give back to their communities when possible a few hours can make a big difference in any area of work.

Best practice for all Oak, American Elm, and Ash trees primarily are a must for any pruning to be done during these fall/winter months (dormancy season) in order to help prevent major pest issues with these trees.

This weeks Sugar maple tree was unfortunately not savable, after a good effort the last two years trying to control a bacterial issue, it became a bit of a risk and we decided removal was the appropriate action. I always like to see and recommend the second part when possible! we were able to replace and plant a new Heritage River Birch in its place, remove one, plant one 👍🌳😊
