Our mission is to remain the “family oriented practice” that we have always been. We are also aggressively exploring opportunities to reduce waiting times and other inconveniences. We treat newborns, infants, children, adults and elders in the full spectrum of Primary Care (General Medicine). We do gynecologic and breast examinations, complete physical exam’s, along with the diagnosis and management of most common and not so common medical illnesses. We are affiliated with the Beaumont Hospitals and work closely with scores of specialists when the need arises. We believe that very close communication between all of your health care providers is essential to quality medical care. As you will see further along in this website, we offer a very wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to minimize your need to go to outside facilities. Dr. Weisman is the founder of Preferred Medical Group, PC. Dr’s Talbert and Carbajo are partners–together they have built the grown the practice to where it is today. Dr. Weisman has served as the Information Technology Chair-person for the Beaumont Physicians (United Physicians, PC), on the Michigan State Medical Societies IT Committee, as Vice Chair of the Health Alliance Plan (HAP) Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and is the founding Medical Director of the Beaumont Physician Organization, and an original co-founder of United Physicians. BPO merged with United Physicians in 2013. Our Primary Care doctors are Beaumont trained specialists. Our building and physician expansions were very successful and they have allowed us to offer you many services on site. We also have a physical medicine specialist, a podiatrist and a diabetes educator available to serve you. We are current in the process of replacing our Beaumont general surgeon who recently relocated out of state. Contact:

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our former Nursing Manager, Norma Donaldson (also known as "Norm"), who dedicated many years of compassionate service and leadership to our office.

Norm was more than a manager — she was a friend to so many. Her unwavering commitment to patient care and nursing excellence left a lasting legacy that continues to shape our work today.

We extend our deepest condolences to Norm’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Norma Norm, of Novi, a beloved wife, mom and Meme, passed into eternal life on Thursday morning, October 16, 2025, at St. Annes Mead Assisted Living in Southfield. She was 79 years old. Family and friends may gather at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in downtown Farmington for visitation on Sunday...
