This is my story... And why I do this.

Some of you know my story... For those that do not:

I hate seeing others in chronic pain. I have been there personally and it basically just sucks. It's exhausting. Especially when you have a toddler to care for and you're in bed by 7pm because your energy is gone or you're sick from the medication side effects.
That was me. My son was just turning a year old when I started the major drugs for my autoimmune disorder.
Add in the stress of knowing your job is unsecured because you know the books and see the growing list of layoffs.
I was fortunate enough to find an aromatherapy class that peaked my interest before I lost my job. I took the class and fell in love with essential oils again after learning there's a huge difference in what is out there despite years of reading on the subject. As it turned out, the same place offered a three month course for reflexology & a year's course for therapeutic massage. I enjoyed the feel of the place and signed up! Within a month, I was off seven medications for my autoimmune disorder, without any side effects. I felt like my son's mother again, not the zombie I was becoming. And I found my calling.... It wasn't bookkeeping. It was helping others like myself to have some relief from the constant pain.

That's my story... I love my work. I love helping others. Simply because there is no better feeling than seeing a person leave feeling lighter than air after coming in with the weight of the world on their shoulders. 💚
