Bent Over Row - Start with 2 sets of 10 and work your way up from there! This is a great exercise for the back of your shoulders and upper back, and helps with everyday movements such as carrying something out of your car. Happy 💪

⭐Patient Spotlight⭐ Harry has an infectious sense of joy and is always game for any exercise thrown his way. Harry came to us several months ago after a long hospital stay that left him feeling weak, unstable, and lacking confidence in his ability to complete the activities he loves at home.

Since becoming a patient here at Better with Physical Therapy, he has grown stronger, regained confidence in completing daily activities around the house, and returned to truly enjoying movement again.

He recently enrolled in Balance School, and to say he’s a star pupil is an understatement. His willingness to take on new, challenging exercises—and then master them within minutes—is just one small example of his impressive athleticism and determination! He has even promised to teach his Balance School classmates a few Greek dancing moves! 🇬🇷💃🕺

"I have been a patient at 4 different PT facilities in the last 25 years. The first 3 pretty much had the same business model, the therapist would handle up to 3 patients at a time. I just assumed that was how all physical therapists operated. Being told to take a band or ball or a stretch strap and work by yourself was quite frustrating, also being given an ice pack or heating pad cuts into actual treatment time. I didn't know any better.

I was fortunate to be told by a member at the Madison Y that Better with Physical Therapy was quite different. A week before my scheduled rotator cuff surgery I booked an evaluation with Will Hylton. Will clearly explained how they were different from other groups and the treatment I would receive. BWPT provides 50 minutes of "One on One" treatment, sometimes a little longer if necessary. The individual care and Will's down to earth attitude sold me.

The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell they enjoy working there, which translates into excellent patient care. The exercises, stretching and treatment I did with Will as well as with Matt were different and more effective, I feel, than the first time I tore my left rotator cuff 13 years ago.
While finishing up PT for my shoulder, I unfortunately suffered an L4 L5 herniated disc, the second time in 2 years. There was no doubt in my mind where I would go for treatment.
Recently, I have been seeing Will every other week for strength training and minor tweaks.
