It’s gorgeous and in the 50s with a blue sky. The sauna is lit, the sun is shining through it, and 15 groups of you are sweating and splashing 💦 and chatting and watching the skiers. Wisconsinites are arriving in shorts and big winter boots, they’re leaving pantsless because it’s not bitterly cold necessitating extra dry layers. Folks are wearing flip flops and robes and bathing suits in February. Sauna convos range from death to video game hacks. We all feel a little more alive when we leave.

Feb 14 6-8pm! Join us and bring a friend for a magical evening of skiing in the candlelight! We will have festive drinks and treats suitable for the friends, ski teams, the whole family or a couple of sweethearts. Suggested donation of $20/person and $50/family. All proceeds will help build our Nordic Storage and Warming building. Non-members welcome! Event Membership Waivers for Blackhawk member-friends must be signed prior to skiing, on line or on site.

This fall, Kindled Community Sauna was delighted to be part of .art micro wedding .brisbane.house ♥️

We offered guests wood-fired sauna + cold plunge sessions in between serving them food and some lounge time by the campfire.

It was awesome to see people wind down for the day, put their cozy clothes on, and enjoy each other’s company while having a unique sauna experience!

SAUNA AT THE STUDIO 🔥

Come out to the patio of for an evening of wood-fired sauna sessions hosted by .community.sauna

Thursday, December 11th, 5-8pm

For a 60 minute session, move through the thermic cycle of hot, cold, rest, rehydrate, and repeat at your own pace.  Follow your session up with some light refreshments in the studio- think charcuterie ;)

Arrive wearing whatever you feel comfortable getting sweaty/wet in.  Some folks wear a bathing suit while others choose light athletic clothing.  Bring two towels, a water bottle, and slip on shoes. 

An email will be sent out to sauna goers a day or two ahead of time with some details and a waiver to sign. 

Booking all 6 seats for a particular time slot will give you/your group a private session.
