Last Friday, a group of our residents and their family members gathered at 88 King Buffet for a delicious lunch outing. 🍽️

Not only did we fill our bellies, but our hearts were even fuller from the time spent together with our loved ones. ❤️

At The Waters of Clifty Falls, we’re proud to have a full team of dedicated therapists — from occupational and speech therapy to physical therapy. Whatever your rehabilitation needs may be, we’ve got you covered! 💙

Today is World Physical Therapy Day, and we’d like to give a special shoutout to two incredible PTs, Cathy and Bobby.

Cathy has been a PT for 13 years and has spent 8 of them with us at The Waters. Bobby has been a PT for 12 years and has been with us for 5 years! Thank you for all you do to help our residents live well every day! 🙌✨

Today for we want to introduce Sara, our wonderful Resident Council President here at The Waters of Clifty Falls! 💜

“My name is Sara, and I’ve been a resident here for nearly three years. After my stroke, I wasn’t able to care for myself at home, and I was scared of what the future would look like. Cooking and baking have always been my passion, and I worried I wouldn’t be able to continue doing what I loved.

But I quickly learned I was wrong. With the help of the most compassionate staff, I’ve been able to keep doing the things that bring me joy. Living in this growing home-like environment gives me purpose and makes me feel alive. I can’t give enough praise to all of the staff here at The Waters of Clifty Falls — we truly are one big family.” 💕

We are so grateful Sara chose us and don’t know what we’d do without her — she makes The Waters shine brighter every day. ✨

Let’s Go Bananas!! 🍌🤪

On Wednesday we celebrated in style with our Cooking Club, who stepped outside the recipe box to make walking banana pudding! 🍌🍨 A little hesitation at first, but by the end, everyone was all smiles (and all sweet tooths satisfied!).

It was the perfect way to keep the fun rolling after celebrating on Tuesday! 🧻

Our toilet paper game brought on laughter, a few spills, and plenty of snacks for the winners. Rumor has it some TP may have wandered into our Administrator’s office… but housekeeping swooped in before we could get the proof! 😉

Our Memory Springs residents had such a wonderful time celebrating earlier this month!

We were inspired by our friends at Toyota of Madison and their adorable new kitten, Lottie — so to celebrate, our residents received their very own furry companion to love and enjoy. 🐈

Stuffed animals can bring so many benefits to memory care — from providing comfort and reducing anxiety to sparking memories and encouraging social interaction. We loved seeing all of the smiles, cuddles, and joy their new furry friends brought! 💕
