Meet Archie! This lovable 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix is looking for a new family and a fresh start. Archie is a sweet and affectionate guy who shines as brightly as his Theo glasses once he feels safe and comfortable! He can be a little nervous around new people or in new situations, but with patience and treats, he starts to open up. Archie loves calm, gentle pets and just wants to be near his humans, enjoying their company and quiet moments together. He would do best in a home without small children or other dogs, and apartment living is not for him. Archie is currently staying in a foster home, so if you’re interested in adopting him, contact Dane County Humane Society’s Adoption Center to set up a meeting. Meet Ginger Snap! This sweet girl enjoys being near her people and is happy to settle in for a cozy snuggle when the moment is right. She is playful and active and would love a single-family home with a fenced yard or land where she can run and explore. Ginger Snap is looking for a home without small kids, cats, or other dogs, and she will do best with a patient person who can help her continue building confidence when she feels a little unsure. At Ulla, we believe the best way to predict the future is to help create it. On Random Acts of Kindness Day (and every day), we’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Since 2013, with the help of our customers, we’ve donated over 3,500 lbs of food to The River Food Pantry, and following our 2025 Donate & Save event, we were proud to contribute an additional $1,000 to support neighbors in need!

We also support the Dane County Humane Society, a cause close to Brittany’s heart as a rescue dog parent herself. From featuring a Dog of the Week to collecting donations in-store, we love helping shelter pups find their furever homes.

And through ReFramed, our sustainability program, customers can give gently used frames a second life. Each refurbished frame offers something truly one-of-a-kind: style that’s price-conscious, planet-friendly, and full of personality. Even better, every ReFramed purchase provides a free vision screening to a child in the Madison School District.

All of it comes back to one simple belief: caring for people, our community, and the world around us matters.
