Ready to welcome some warmer and brighter days? Meet Summer, a sweet dog who brings a little sunshine wherever she goes. True to her name, she has a way of making it feel like summer all year round once her loving personality starts to shine through. She can be a bit shy at first, but give her a little time and you’ll see just how affectionate she is, happily leaning in for pets and attention. Summer would do best with a patient adopter, a home without small children, and thoughtful introductions to other dogs so she can adjust at her own pace. Brittany recently received the most fabulous book, Dog Only Knows (thank you, Mom 💕), filled with stunning paintings of very adorable pups… and naturally, we all fell for the one in glasses.

It's that time again for our Dog of the Week, featuring this cutie from Dane County Humane Society!

Meet Zade, a lovable goofball with a playful personality that is sure to make you smile. He may be a little nervous at first, but give him some time and you will see him blossom into an affectionate, playful companion who adores attention, petting, and even curling up in your lap. Zade has been through a lot, arriving with a tail injury that required its removal, but he is healing well and is ready to begin a new chapter with a family who will spoil him with lots of treats and attention. He would do best in a home without small children and may prefer calmer canine companions, as rowdy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for him. If you are looking for a loyal, loving dog who will reward your patience with endless affection, Zade might just be your match.
