*When you first wake up…take a deep and full breath…and affirm, “No matter what is occurring in my outer life, I am safe. All is well.”
*Shower, bathe, cleanse ... and then dress as if you are going out. It will shift up your energy. (This is a note to myself, especially, because I have noticed that by the time I’m taking my pajamas off, it’s time to put them on again.)
*High five the sky again and again. Say, “I’m ready for life…bring it on!” Remember this is the time for daring courage.
*Don’t judge yourself if you get scared or worried. Have a gentle loving acceptance of yourself. And hold the intent that you are a warrior of the light and the pandemic (and all it entails) is your worthy opponent. Find a position in your body that feels like a hero and hold that pose.
*Journal, read, paint, sing, dance, cuss out loud…allow yourself to express what you are feeling…even if it is less than positive. This keeps the energy flowing.
*Stay in touch with others (of course with social distancing). Let your priority be people that make you feel good and empowered. Distance yourself – even if it is on social media—from people than diminish you.
*Rest, nap, and replenish yourself and your home. Fix things that need fixing or mending. Clutter clear. Space clear. Clean your home with the intent that you are creating sacred space for vitality and joy.
*Gratitude. Gratitude. Gratitude. There is always something to be grateful for, and the energy of feeling gratitude is healing and even holy.
**Remember…we will get through this.**
