The fascia is one of the most fascinating systems in the body.
It is a body wide web of collagen that wraps around muscles, organs, bones, and nerves. But it is not just structural tissue.
Research is revealing that fascia is piezoelectric and semi conductive, meaning it can generate electrical charge when compressed or moved, much like a quartz crystal.
Fascia is also filled with structured water, sometimes called liquid crystal water, which can transmit energy and information throughout the body.
In other words…
Your body is not just mechanical.
It is electrical, fluid, emotional, and intelligent.
This fascial network is now considered the largest sensory organ in the body, intimately connected to emotion, memory, and the nervous system.
Which is exactly why movement matters.
When we move, spiral, shake, and dance, we begin to hydrate the fascia, release stored tension, and move emotional energy that may have been held in the body for years.
This is one of the reasons I love ecstatic dance so much.
Movement becomes medicine.
Breath opens the field.
Cacao softens the heart.
Music moves the body.
And the fascia begins to reorganize itself.
If you want to experience this kind of release and reconnection in your own body, I would love to dance with you.

Fascinating, right? the body stores so much. Have you ever felt emotion release through movement or dance?
