This week, while in town covering shifts at our base, PHI Air Medical TRap Team Flight Nurse/Medic, Alex, taught our monthly education at Switzerland County Emergency Response (SCER). She has numerous years of pediatric experience to include bedside nursing, pediatric air medical transport, and is an ECMO specialist, in the Texas area!

Discussion: Pediatric Trauma
Skills: Pediatric scenario highlighting when and when to not administer blood.

SCER recently started carrying blood products and continued training is something they’re passionate about, to become efficient! We’re happy to help provide continued education each month!
