What an amazing day! Did you know that if you own a business and are looking for chair massage services for your employees (2 or more), I bring all my supplies and chair to you and provide relaxation and muscle tension relief right on site!

Today I had the honor to work on the fantastic employees at Ken’s Restaurant in Skowhegan.

✨ Fun fact! ✨
Ken’s Restaurant has been my favorite restaurant for literally as long as I can remember. I could eat their chicken every day, for every meal and never get sick of it. Occasionally I do branch out and try other things 😉 and I’ve never been disappointed by anything there.

So for me to come full circle in a way and go from being in the booths, eating until my hearts content to being able to care for the people who keep my favorite place running and keeping all of their customers happy was truly an awesome feeling. It was so nice to connect with everyone and meet the faces behind the scenes as well.

Thank you, Kristy, Hannah and everyone at Ken’s for the BEST day!

(I was so excited about my chicken dinner that I was already half done eating before I took that picture… sorry not sorry 😆)

For the month of September, every appointment was entered into a raffle to celebrate my one year anniversary here at Pine & Willow! I’m a little late doing my drawing because you guys have been keeping me SO BUSY 🥵😂 I love it.

So, included with these cute little baskets, each winner also receives a gift certificate for a free 30 minute service of their choosing with me.

The winners are…..

🍁 Vanessa E.
🍂 Rebecca R.

As stated in my poorly done videos, I will reach out to these lovely clients of mine and get their goodies to them. 😁

Thank you ALL for making this year so successful and so wonderful for me.

✨ A Quick Scheduling Update ✨

Weekend appointments are currently booking out 4-5 weeks in advance. If you’d like to stay on a regular schedule, I recommend booking your sessions a little farther ahead (maybe book two months at a time) to secure the times that work best for you.

Please also keep in mind that if you need to reschedule, my next available opening may still be several weeks out. Planning ahead helps ensure you don’t have to wait longer than you’d like between visits.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for making your self-care a priority! 💆‍♀️

Muscle Spotlight – Levator Scapulae

💆‍♀️ Ever wake up with a stiff neck and feel like you can’t turn your head?
That’s often thanks to a small but mighty muscle called the levator scapulae.

📍 Where is it?
It runs from the top of your shoulder blade up into the side of your neck.

😣 What does it do?
Its job is to lift your shoulder blade — but it gets overworked when you:

Look down at your phone 📱 (“tech neck”)

Hunch over a laptop 💻

Sleep in an awkward position 🛏️

⚡ When it’s cranky:

Neck stiffness

Trouble turning your head

Tension headaches

✨ How massage helps:
Targeted massage can release this muscle, restore neck mobility, and ease tension headaches. Pair it with posture awareness and gentle stretching, and your neck will thank you!

👉 Next time your neck feels stuck, remember: it might just be your levator scapulae asking for a little TLC.
