Get informed. Get screened. Get vaccinated.
More than 11,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year.
Cervical cancer develops in a woman's cervix (the entrance to the uterus from the va**na). Almost all cervical cancer cases (99%) are linked to infection with high risk human papillomavirus (HPV), an extremely common virus transmitted through sexual contact.
Wisconsin Well Woman Program can help cover the cost of HPV screening. https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/wwwp/index.htm
