When Scott from Madison, Indiana began a routine stress test at Norton King’s Daughters’ Health, doctors quickly realized he was having a heart attack and acted immediately. He was rushed to Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, where the team from Norton Heart & Vascular Institute performed a cardiac catheterization and placed a stent, helping Scott preserve nearly all of his heart function. 🫀

After returning home, Scott completed 36 sessions of cardiac rehabilitation back at Norton King’s Daughters’ Health, strengthening his heart, building community with fellow patients and rebuilding his confidence one step at a time. ❤️

As part of Heart Month, Norton King's Daughters' Health is hosting Love Your Healthy Heart - a screening and informational event on Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main lobby of the hospital. 🩷

Emergency care remains open at all Norton Healthcare hospital locations.

Due to local travel restrictions, patients who need care today, including immediate care, can use virtual visits through Norton eCare and Norton MyChart.

The Norton Immediate Care Center – Hilltop building will remain closed today.

Appointments at provider offices, the Norton King’s Daughters’ Health rehabilitation center and the cancer treatment center will move to virtual visits or be rescheduled. Patients will be contacted.

WEATHER UPDATE ❄️ Norton Immediate Care Centers and Norton Prompt Care locations will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. All primary care and specialty offices will operate on a two-hour delay for in-person appointments. If you have an appointment in the morning, our team will contact you. Emergency departments at all Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s hospitals remain open and scheduled procedures for tomorrow morning will continue as planned.
