Most women think breast reduction means an all-day hospital stay and drains everywhere.

That’s usually not how it goes.

Here’s the real breakdown 👇

From arrival to discharge, plan for about 6 hours total.

Surgery itself?
Around 2 hours.

Recovery room?
About 90 minutes while anesthesia wears off.

The Fat We Can Attack

Not all belly fat is created equal—
There are certain things that we can, and we cannot do as Plastic Surgeons. I often tell patients that I am a physician, not a magician. The fat that sits behind the abdominal muscle, muscles is best addressed with diet, exercise, and weight loss. The fat under the skin is the fat that we can target and that we can treat assuming the skin quality is good enough for us to reduce that layer of fat. It’s important to know these things before your operation.

You need to make sure that you have the right surgeon, the right surgery at the right time.
