Good morning. I know everyone is in a panic over the Covid 19 outbreak. People are staying at home, hunkering down, working from home and so on. There is some good news, and that is, in the hardest hit countries, things are getting better as people get serious about this. At the office, we're wiping down surfaces, counters, door k***s, faucets, chairs, tables, washing up and down between every patient, not shaking hands etc. We are still open for business. I would recommend these procedures for your homes, vehicles and offices as well. Liquid antibacterial soap is better than bar soap and the 'purel' hand sanitizer. Bar soap is good but can become a collection point for germs. Now would be an excellent time to change out your toothbrushes, frequently wash pillowcases, bedding, and don't share anything you touch or put on/in your face. Even if your not 'sick' you could have this, so act like it. Mouthwash and good oral hygiene are especially important at this time. A whole lot of little steps can make the difference. We deal with different flu's every year. Many more people die from the 'normal flu' every year than have died from this COVID 19 version so these precautions should be more the norm than exception. Some times 'Mother Nature' reminds us to be more careful.Remember you spine and nerves are an important part of your immune system. All disease is a stress reaction your body can't 'handle'. Reducing musculoskeletal stress reduces your overall stress, making the body function more efficiently. I'm not going to say that an adjustment will prevent or cure infectious disease, but by reducing overall stress, you will have a better chance of fighting this. Get good sleep, eat good foods, do things that help you be a stronger you. In Health. Doc L
