⚠️ Updated Outpatient Closures – Monday, January 26, 2026 ⚠️

Due to winter weather conditions, the following Boone Memorial Health locations will be closed today:

• BMH Comfort Clinic
• BMH Comfort Pharmacy
• BMH Brighter Futures

All other outpatient facilities are planning to open at 10:00 a.m.

This post will be updated with any additional closures or delays.

As always, Boone Memorial Hospital, including the Emergency Department, remains open 24/7. Please travel safely and use caution if you must be out.

⚠️ Weather Update – Delayed Openings 1/26/26 ⚠️

Due to winter weather conditions, all Boone Memorial Health outpatient clinics and retail pharmacies will delay opening until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026.

• Any appointments scheduled before 10:00 a.m. will be rescheduled. Our team will contact patients directly.

• All hospital-based outpatient services (including physical therapy, pulmonary & cardiac rehabilitation, lab, imaging, etc.) will remain open and operating as scheduled.

Please continue to monitor BMH social media pages for any additional updates.

As always, Boone Memorial Hospital, including our Emergency Department, remains open 24/7.

It’s Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and Boone Memorial Health wants you to know that with early HPV vaccination and regular screening with Pap and HPV tests, cervical cancer is preventable.

Statistics show that 1 in 4 women have not been screened as recommended. If this is you, we welcome your call for a screening appointment at 304.369.1230. BMH has a board certified Gynecologist and a team of Family Medicine providers who offer women’s health screening services.

Last week, we were honored to welcome John Reisenweber, State Director of USDA Rural Development (RD) in West Virginia; Adam Stollings, USDA RD WV Community Liaison; Kayleigh Kyle, USDA RD Senior Community Liaison; and Chris McCoy, External Affairs Manager for Appalachian Power.

The visit included a discussion, a tour of our hospital, and a stop at Market on Main. It was a great opportunity to reflect on just how impactful these partnerships have been. In 2016, USDA RD provided the loan financing that enabled construction of our 78,000-square-foot hospital - a project that proved to be the catalyst for Boone Memorial Health’s growth over the past decade. That investment expanded our ability to care for more patients, add new service lines, and dramatically increase our impact across the communities we serve.

We’re proud to continue working alongside USDA Rural Development and Appalachian Power on initiatives that support healthcare access, economic development, and long-term community health. The work ahead is exciting—and partnerships like these help make it possible.
