This week makes one year since his death

Today marks one year without Robert. Many of you have heard me talk about him over the years—he was a student I tutored and worked with for a long time, and he became like family to me, truly a second child.

Even though most of you didn’t attend school with Robert, his story has touched our Nook family. He was hardworking, kind, and had such a bright future ahead of him.

In his memory, I’m sharing this video and a petition for safer highways in Mississippi. If you feel led, please take a moment to watch, sign, and share. Together, we can help make a change that honors Robert and protects others.
