Mark your calendars!!! 📆 SNA is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Tuesday, October 14 from 10-3pm!! We are so excited at the opportunity to give back to the community and help address the constant need for blood!! Be a hero- no cape needed, just blood ❤️ we hope to see you all there (Snacks and drinks provided)

Attention graduating SoN students! Please donate any old scrub pants or tops and blood pressure cuffs/penlights. Donations can be given to staff in the SoN Academic Affairs office at any time (preferably before graduation). All donations will be sold at inexpensive prices to incoming first year nursing students at our scrub sale in the fall. We appreciate any donations and congratulations on graduating!

We really appreciate everyone who took the time to show up, hang out, and help make the night a great one! It was awesome to take a break from the chaos of school, celebrate how far we’ve come, and enjoy some time together outside of the classroom and clinicals.
Thanks again for making the night so fun — and best of luck to everyone as we wrap up the year and move on to what’s next. We’ve earned it!

Join us for our blood drive on March 4th in partnership with the School of Nursing Wellness committee! There are plenty of donor spots left to fill and we need volunteers to help set up and take down too. Anyone who donates in March will receive a $10 gift card by email. Today, Student Nurses’ Association board members had the opportunity to participate in 2025 Nurses Day at the Capitol, joining experienced nurse educators, RNs, APRNs, and fellow student nurses to engage in critical discussions on national and Wisconsin health policy issues.
Key topics included nursing workforce challenges, healthcare access, and nursing education, all of which have a direct impact on nursing practice and patient care. Each participant prepared to meet with legislators, ensuring that the perspectives of nurses at all levels are represented in policymaking.
Advocacy is an essential component of the nursing profession, and today reinforced the importance of using our voices to shape the future of healthcare.
