The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Public Health Madison & Dane County have confirmed one measles case in Dane County, the second confirmed case in Wisconsin this year.

💉 Vaccination is the best protection. Two doses of the MMR vaccine are about 97% effective (one dose is about 93% effective). Associated Physicians pediatricians strongly encourage eligible patients to receive their first or second MMR dose.

🩺 Symptoms typically begin 10–12 days after exposure and may include high fever (over 104°F), cough, runny nose, tiredness, red/watery eyes, and a red rash that starts at the hairline and spreads to the arms and legs.

Yesterday, we said "See You Later" to one of our very best here at Associated Physicians: Ms. Peg Wilkinson!

Peg as been a quiet giant, working diligently and leading our revenue cycle department for over 35 years!

Even though we will miss her warm smile lighting up the room every day, we wish her the very best in the next chapter of her life; taking the days slower and enjoying time with her family.
