This says it all. 🤘

🪬Judging the path of others - this is why I struggle with organized religion. Alot of them are "if you dont believe what I believe, you're wrong and you're going to hell" ❌️ I disagree- we are all on our own path and it doesnt have to make sense to anyone else. True unconditional love is accepting people for where they are on their journey, not judging them because they believe different than you. Different does not equal less than.

🪬Self righteous superiority ❌️ Remembering and healing has layers. It takes time to unveil these layers. Be proud of your progress, but thinking you are "better" because you are "further", just shows you are not as far as you think you are. Check that ego.

🪬Using practices as superiority ❌️ doing everything "by the spiritual book" doesn't make you better than anyone. When your only doing these things because someone told you you had to or to feel higher than someone else, it loses the original intent for the modality. Do these things only if you feel it helps you connect to what your seeking.

🪬Knowledge without embodiment ❌️ read the book, learn the info, but all the knowledge in the world does no good if you're not implementing it into your life. You can logically know all the things to help youself. However, if you're not practicing them and using them, this knowledge is useless. Especially with how much information social media shoves down our throats. You dont need to constantly intake more info, you need to practice what you've learned for true transformational experiences.

🪬Spiritual bypassing ❌️ THIS ONE IS HUGE!!!! I SEE THIS WAY TO OFTEN. Avoiding triggers, avoiding your shadows, removing yourself isnt always the answer. We can't just turn our back to the shadows and pretend its all love and light. Finding the balance between the two is so important. We can't have light without the dark. Ignoring your shadows because its uncomfortable will stall your growth. Accepting all parts of us and integrating them helps us skyrocket to new heights.

🪬Clinging to labels ❌️ ANY TYPE OF LABEL LIMITS YOU. This also goes for any I AM or I HAVE statement. Labels in anything can create a limitation, a box, a chain that hold us down. Even when we've been diagnosed with something and we say "I have...anxiety, depression, bipolar, adhd.....ect -- it puts a label on you and sends out the message "this is mine and no ones going to take it from me." If we can shift the verbage to "I'm getting better at........", "I'm growing in the area of........", you can even say "the old me would have.....but the new me is going to........". Shifting the statement into what you want for your life instead of putting yourself into a box that someone else put you in and reprograms our subconcious beliefs, which run 90% of our decisions.

The love is worth protecting.

It’s easy to become disheartened by the noise of the world — the greed, division, and fear that often dominate headlines and feed the illusion of separation. But if we look just beneath the surface, we find something far more powerful: love. Quiet, resilient, and ever-present, love weaves itself through our moments of kindness, empathy, and connection.

Love doesn’t need to shout to be real. It exists in every act of compassion, in the choice to forgive, in the presence we offer to those who are hurting. It’s in the warmth of friendship, the courage to speak truth, and the soft strength it takes to stay kind in a world that sometimes forgets. And though the dark may be loud, the light — when nurtured — becomes unstoppable.

Give it up for this guy! John Lupiezowiec of Blooming Metal Studios works with copper, steel, brass, and wood to make artistic sculptures for the garden and home. His metal art is meticulously handcrafted and his commitment to Midwest Fire Fest is also incredible. Each year, John and his grandson Deagan have been a huge part of the sculpture support team. John was also an integral part in crafting our larger-than-life kiln that houses the giant fire sculpture since the Fest's inception. Thanks, John!
