🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 💚

We’re wearing green today … and keeping it on tomorrow!

March 18 is World Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Day, a day to raise awareness for kids and teens living with this chronic autoimmune disease that causes joint pain, swelling and fatigue — affecting nearly 300,000 children in the U.S.

📸 Snap a photo in green today or tomorrow and share it to show your support. Let’s help these kids know they’re seen, supported and never alone.

At JA Family Summit, kids get a hands-on, fun experience that mirrors their own juvenile arthritis care — and it's always a hit with the kids! At the Panda Clinic, generously provided by Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, children check their panda’s blood pressure, give their panda a shot and learn about health in a playful, empowering way.

It’s always a favorite part of Summit, giving kids confidence, connection and a sense of understanding about their own care — while parents attend sessions, network and gather resources.

Meet Atalie:
One day, Atalie started limping. What felt small at first slowly became impossible to ignore. By the time she was not even two, mornings meant tears, crawling instead of walking, and a fear we couldn’t name.
In the middle of COVID, we faced endless tests, hospital visits, and life-altering conversations—often alone, separated by restrictions, carrying the weight in silence. Finally, we heard the words we never imagined for our toddler: juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
Since then, our life has been a roller coaster of treatments, setbacks, hope, exhaustion, and resilience. Watching your child live with chronic pain is a kind of heartbreak you can’t prepare for—but it also teaches you strength you didn’t know you had.
Atalie’s arthritis is part of her story, but it will never define her. Through advocacy, awareness, and the incredible community she’s found with other girls living with JIA, she’s learning she’s not alone—and neither are we.
We’ll keep fighting for better treatments, more research, and a cure. Every child deserves a full, joyful life. 💙 Click the link below to join my team, donate as well as get to know more about Six Hearts - One Joint Mission 💙🩷💙❤️💙🩵

Knowledge is power — especially after a juvenile arthritis diagnosis.

If you’ve ever left an appointment with more questions than answers, this episode is for you. In “Juvenile Arthritis Explained,” the Live Yes! With Arthritis podcast walks through what JA is (and isn’t), common symptoms, treatment approaches and how families can move forward with confidence.

It’s a supportive, easy-to-understand conversation designed to help parents and caregivers feel informed and empowered — no medical degree required. 🎧
