Happy Sunday! Words cannot express the gratitude my heart felt & sang a few days ago when a student sent me a message to share that they chose to use their tools instead of engaging in an addictive behavior. THIS is what a true yoga practice does for those of us who choose to allow time & space for the mind & body to yoke. It's work, but worth it!!!

The “Happy Hormones” Explained Simply 😊

1️⃣ Endorphins 💪
Exercise, laughter, and even a bit of dark chocolate can help boost endorphins. A short walk or quick workout can lift your mood fast.
Relatable mistake 😅 thinking you need a full gym session when a good laugh with friends works too.

2️⃣ Serotonin ☀️
Sunlight, warm baths, and fresh fruits may support serotonin levels. Even a few minutes outside can make a difference.
Sometimes we forget how powerful natural light really is.

3️⃣ Oxytocin 🤗
Hugs, bonding moments, and time with pets can encourage oxytocin release. Small gestures of affection often improve the whole day.
Relatable mistake 😅 underestimating the impact of a simple hug.

4️⃣ Dopamine 🎧
Self-care, listening to music, and enjoying simple pleasures can help stimulate dopamine.
We often look for big rewards, when small daily wins do the trick.

Simple habits can gently support your body’s natural feel-good chemistry. Sometimes happiness starts with small, consistent actions.
