Damian A. Brooks, Age: 35 of Cambridge passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2025
Damian was born September 19, 1990 in Skowhegan the beloved son of Amy Brooks and Roger Toothaker Jr.
Damian was a loving son, partner, father, brother, uncle and cousin. He was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him.
His passions included: playing guitar, skateboarding, hunting, camping, fishing, attending concerts and festivals. He was an avid fan of arts and crafts, movies and cartoons with a special fondness for the '90s cartoons. His interest in history, math and music were unmatched. He took great pride in knowing every detail about his favorite bands.
Damian is survived by his parents Amy Brooks of Corinna and Roger Toothaker Jr of Alabama, his fiance Kymber Cookson; their children, Dominic, Collin, and Jaxxon; his siblings: Anthony Brown, Leann Andrews, Briann Brooks, Devon (Fisher) Toothaker, and Wessley (Libby) Toothaker; his grandmother Phyllis Lawler of Corinna, his grandfather Roger Toothaker Sr of Old Town; great aunt, Brenda Gamble of North Carolina, and a large network of aunt's uncle's cousins nephews and nieces.
Damian was predeceased by his daughter Ellayna Brooks, of Cambridge; his very close cousin Eric Richardson, of Hartland; and his grandmother Jenny Toothaker of Old Town.
A gathering to celebrate Damian's life will be held on Sunday November 30th 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW hall in Dexter. In lieu of flowers, a donation jar will be available at the door. We invited everyone to come share the cherished memories of Damian.
Rest in peace, Damian you will be deeply missed. Forever in our hearts, Always.
