A huge shout out to the folks who put together the Midwest Melts ICE Community Action Fair at the Madison Labor Temple yesterday. They raised over $3,000 in monetary donations for rental assistance for undocumented and American Indian folks of East Saint Paul and took in thousands of dollars worth of food and medical supplies to take to support folks in Minnesota dealing with ICE. AND they put this all together in less than one week!

Although organizing can feel like a superpower, all of us can be the change we want to see by putting our values into action and organizing within our own communities! Work, school, church, even on your street, you can make it happen too!

There were hundreds of people who came through to donate items, help build creative resistance, and take the Know Your Rights training! We ❤️ our community!
