“Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there's no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.” ― Laini Taylor
Emerging from the Chaos:
Yesterday brought a sharp reminder of how quickly things can escalate. News broke that federal funding for addiction and mental health services was being terminated, only to be reversed by the current administration after public outrage and pushback. While this funding does not directly impact Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health, it deeply affects our partners—including Children’s Wisconsin—and, most importantly, the infants, young children, families and communities who rely on these services. What happens to one part of the system ripples across all of us. We are connected, and the stability of families everywhere matters to the well-being of children here at home.
Our commitment to protecting infant and early childhood mental health, standing with our partners and supporting the most vulnerable remains steady.
