The Enrichment Center

The Enrichment Center The Enrichment Center provides school-based, professional counseling services to students who need it most.
(1)

We partner with local schools to provide professional counseling to students who are going through hard times and need a friend, resources, or an advocate to help them grow into the people they want to become. The mental health of our kids is one of the most important issues of today. As one teacher put it, "If we don't take care of our kids mental health needs first, you can forget about teaching them in the classroom." The struggles that kids and adolescents today are facing are more challenging and complex than ever before. The Enrichment Center program strives to provide a helping hand to these individuals when they need it most. Our mission is to passionately walk with students through seasons of struggle and to equip students with the tools, support, and confidence to create a brighter future.

Gratitude isn’t about ignoring stress—it’s about noticing the people, moments, and little comforts that help you get through. 💛

Even small daily practices can:

- Boost mood
- Reduce stress
- Strengthen connection

At The Enrichment Center, we’re grateful for our school-based therapists, mental health coaches, and school district partners who make this work possible every day. 💛

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃

Our Story

The Enrichment Center is a school-based counseling program providing support for students facing seasons of struggle and traumatic life crises. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to make a difference in the lives of students. We believe the mental health of young people is one of the most important issues of today. As one teacher put it, "If we don't take care of our kids’ mental health needs first, you can forget about teaching them in the classroom." The struggles that children and adolescents are facing today are more challenging and complex than ever before. The EC program strives to provide support to these individuals when they need it most. At a time when our education system is underfunded and our teachers, school counselors, and administrators are overworked, we need to provide as much support to our local schools as possible. The Enrichment Center provides licensed counselors to support the schools by walking with students through some of the more serious and delicate situations children and adolescents of today go through.

OUR MISSION is to provide excellent school-based counseling services to support students through life’s challenges.

OUR VISION is a school environment where every child has a support system and safe place to go when they face life’s challenges and struggles. We envision a dedicated, full-time counselor available to every student in our community to support them as they face life’s challenges and to walk with them through seasons of struggle. We envision a climate where emotional health is prioritized just as much as academic preparedness and physical health, and every person is equipped with the tools and resources they need to support their own mental health throughout their lives.

OUR CORE VALUES are trust, passionate investment, confidentiality, and growth. We strive to embody these core values and always keep them at the center of everything we do. Every interaction we have, whether it’s with our colleagues, with anyone we encounter working in the schools, with our students, or with people we meet in the community, we approach that interaction with an emphasis on trust, passionate investment, confidentiality, and growth.
