Our Story
The Enrichment Center is a school-based counseling program providing support for students facing seasons of struggle and traumatic life crises. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to make a difference in the lives of students. We believe the mental health of young people is one of the most important issues of today. As one teacher put it, "If we don't take care of our kids’ mental health needs first, you can forget about teaching them in the classroom." The struggles that children and adolescents are facing today are more challenging and complex than ever before. The EC program strives to provide support to these individuals when they need it most.
At a time when our education system is underfunded and our teachers, school counselors, and administrators are overworked, we need to provide as much support to our local schools as possible. The Enrichment Center provides licensed counselors to support the schools by walking with students through some of the more serious and delicate situations children and adolescents of today go through.

OUR VISION is a school environment where every child has a support system and safe place to go when they face life’s challenges and struggles. We envision a dedicated, full-time counselor available to every student in our community to support them as they face life’s challenges and to walk with them through seasons of struggle. We envision a climate where emotional health is prioritized just as much as academic preparedness and physical health, and every person is equipped with the tools and resources they need to support their own mental health throughout their lives.
