Hi all, with the high interest and need for OT services paired with a small hiring pool the clinic has made the hard decision to stop adding new names to our OT waitlist.

We will suggest other agencies for those interested in OT who reach out to us and will announce when we are able reopen the waitlist. Stay safe and warm today! 💙

🎺 Come one, come all to learn about our incoming Clinical Psychologist - Dr. Holly Morales! 🎺
Dr. Morales practices from a neurodiversity-affirming and social justice–informed perspective. She believes that people are the experts on their own experiences and that accurate diagnosis can be an important step toward self-understanding, support, and access to care. Her approach emphasizes listening closely to clients, reducing barriers to diagnosis, and moving away from deficit-based models toward strengths-based understanding.
We're looking forward to learning from her and increasing the ways in which we can support clients and students. Yay! 😸🌼🧠

Drumroll please...🥁🥁🥁We are thrilled to announce a new service that will be starting this May - Common Threads will be offering Neuropsychological Evaluations! We look forward to providing these in a neuro-affimring way that supports all people involved in the process. The insurances we take are Quartz, Anthem, GHC, Forward Health (MA) as well as CCS funding. In lieu of a book review this week...When unjust things are happening around us it can be overwhelming and leave people not knowing where to start. There is an important bill being voted on this week that includes increasing funding to DHS and we have a chance to stand up for our community to protect families and neighbors by demanding that it is not approved. The app/website 5calls makes calling representative accessible with sorted topics, appropriate phone numbers and scripts. Hug a friend, cuddle a pet, drink your favorite beverage in the sunlight from a window. In solidarity, 💖💖💖

☃❄ Friendly reminder that the clinic building will be closed starting tomorrow (December 17th) and reopening on January 5th (2026! woah!). Staff has been in communication about virtual or community sessions and ways to continue therapeutic support while we have exciting renovations done to make our space even more accessible. "Trauma is Really Strange" turns neuroscience into something relatable and reminds us that understanding is the first step toward healing!

We love how this book invites gentle, stigma-free conversations about trauma - something we all deserve more of (and in a graphic novel)!
