We are proud of our very own, Dr. Songcharoen and his many accomplishments! Dr. Songcharoen received acknowledgement from the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand, for his outstanding contributions as a Pioneer of Hand Surgery during the recent IFSSH Congress. This was taken place in Washington, DC on March 24th, 2025.
This acknowledgement is given to any person who excels exceptionally, beyond what is normally expected in the field of hand surgery. Nominees must have made a significant contribution to hand surgery nationally and internationally and be at least 70 years old. They must be recommended in writing by their society and may only be nominated following approval by the members of the governing board of the hand surgery society to which he/she belongs. Written recommendations from three of his/her peers must also be submitted. Dr. Songcharoen was one of 41 honorees during this Federation Congress.
