We are here to help!

*Our Clinic offers a wide range of programming, including:

Occupational Therapy Sessions/Evaluation
Speech Therapy Sessions/Evaluation
Physical Therapy Sessions/ Evaluation

Daycare/Preschool Consultations and Trainings
In-home Consultations/Environmental Set up
Support Groups and Trainings

We believe that children are best supported in the context of their family and community. This belief is reflected in our therapeutic and training sessions. When children come to us, more often than not we invite the parents and/or siblings into the therapy sessions with us. We work to balance therapeutic intervention aimed at the child with training and support for the families. We feel that by developing close, trusting relationships, not only with the children that we serve, but also with the parents and caregivers, we are able to effect more change in our therapeutic intervention. Our goal is that the family is able to leave our relationship with a greater understand of their child and the tools and advocacy skills to support their child.

✨Book Recommendation✨

We frequently recommend "Hey Warrior" by Karen Young to families looking for a thoughtful, developmentally appropriate way to talk with kids about anxiety. The book explains how anxiety works in the brain and body, gives children language for what they’re experiencing, and introduces practical strategies for managing worry. A resource we often suggest to support and extend the work happening in therapy.

When we talk about “occupation” in occupational therapy, we’re not talking about a job.

We’re talking about everyday activities — play, learning, self-care, work, and connection — and how those change across a person’s life.

This carousel breaks down what “occupation” really means.

The nervous system often responds best to predictable, body-based input. These are all best done proactively throughout the day to build reserves in the nervous system. Many kids are not able to do anything that is suggested when they are already dysregulated.

At CTN, we frequently focus on three categories that support calming and regulation.

Breathing activities 🫧 that emphasize a slow, full exhale (such as blowing bubbles, feathers, or cotton balls, or using straws and water bottles) can help slow physiological arousal.

Heavy work 🤸‍♀️including climbing, crawling, pushing, pulling, and carrying—provides proprioceptive input that helps organize the body. Similar input can also come through the jaw using chew tools or chewy foods.

Deep pressure input 🫂 such as firm hugs, weighted items, massage, or compression, can support a sense of grounding and body awareness.

These strategies support regulation and help children be more available for participation, learning, and connection.
