We are pleased to announce that the 35th International Pupil Colloquium will take place in the summer of 2026. This long-standing meeting brings together researchers, clinicians, and scientists from around the world to share the latest advances in pupil research and its applications across neuroscience, ophthalmology, psychology, and medicine. Registration and Abstract submission will open on February 1st, 2026. New award opportunity for undergraduates! The application period for the MERI-sponsored Sophomore Research Fellowship has just opened! This award provides research training and support to UW-Madison sophomore undergraduates, allowing them to undertake their own vision research project in collaboration with faculty or research staff. This Friday, visiting scholar Dr. Isabelle Audo (Institut de la Vision, Sorbonne University) will deliver a special lecture from 12:30 to 1:30 pm in WIMR 3571. The lecture, entitled "Identifying underlying molecular pathways towards a better understanding of inherited retinal diseases", is open for all to attend; no RSVP necessary.
