"This was an opportunity to really do what we love to do in this group, our lab group, which is to teach."

Earlier this month, six Ukrainian surgeons joined Wisconsin Surgery to learn limb-saving microsurgery techniques to treat war injuries. The Microsurgery and Regenerative Medicine Lab, led by Drs. Samuel Poore and Aaron Di**le, put together a two-week training for these surgeons to learn skills that they can take back and use to improve the lives of those with traumatic injuries in Ukraine.
