We said goodbye, see you later, love you so much, to my dear, beloved friend and shadow for the last 14 years. Gilbeaux the dog came into my life at eight weeks old, “free puppy” in the park style. He was full of worms and fleas. We stayed married from that point forward, and in that commitment I held the responsibility to see him through to the end. We lived a full life together. He was my companion across three states, infinite walks, thousands of p**p bags. It’s challenging to adjust to life without him; and at least equally challenging to revel in the bright overwhelming truth of how pure and unadulterated the love we shared is and was. The shame humans carry, the deserving or earning (or failing to) of love or affection has no place in his pure existence in the present moment and channeling of divine love. It wasn’t too soon to say goodbye; and I am so relieved and honored that he could leave on a good day. 💫🐕👋🙏💕🌈

From my perspective - a definition of safety.

“Improvising is openness to contact with the environment and each other and willingness to play. It is acting upon environment and allowing others to act upon present reality, as in playing a game.” — Viola Spolin

Focus is on you

Your needs are different every day.

I view my job each session to be supportive of your own body’s ability to heal itself; my skillset as support for your innate capacity to recover and find balance. The tools I use and routine I follow varies from client to client, and session to session. I take into account what your concerns are that day, and will come up with a plan that suits your needs. Some days, this may be the need to relax and destress; other days, this may be an issue of chronic pain that needs focused work and care.

The tools I have in my “belt” to approach and help you find relaxation are a strong background in Swedish Massage, Polarity Therapy, Foot Reflexology, Myofascial Trigger Point release, Sports Massage, Stretching, and Deep Tissue. In any given session, all of these modalities are available to best support your body healing itself.

I am a 2018 graduate of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, in Albuquerque, NM, one of the oldest massage schools in the country. I found massage through my recovery from a fall off my bicycle in 2014 that tore my meniscus. The human body, its connections and intricacies, are forever fascinating to me!
