The breathtaking beauty of this landscape reminds us that Taekwondo is more than movement—it’s a journey grounded in meaning, balance, and growth.

The Chang-Hon (“Blue Cottage”) Pattern System, created by General Choi Hong Hi, reflects a philosophy of harmony, discipline, and indomitable spirit.

Chon-Ji, the very first pattern, translates to “Heaven and Earth” (Chon = Heaven, Ji = Earth)—the beginning of all things and the foundation of every student’s journey.

Every time we practice our patterns, we’re not just moving—we’re connecting to a legacy built on purpose, perseverance, and tradition.

At Community Taekwondo, we honor that legacy while building strength, confidence, and character in every student.
