Congratulations Craig Bennett, Maintenance Director, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Craig is the Maintenance Director and has served at Hickory Creek of Madison for over 13 years.
Craig leads with a servant’s heart. He an employee every organization hopes for, but rarely finds. He wears many hats – fixer, planner, leader, grill master, and on some days, even part-time entertainer. But what sets Craig apart goes far beyond tools and tasks lists. He helps fill the facility with laughter, light, and a never-ending stream of jokes. You never see him meet a stranger- because by the time you’ve spoken to him, you’re already a friend.
Craig builds genuine relationships that make our facility feel like home. He is the first to step in and last to leave during any emergency. And when the Executive Director is out of the building? Well, let’s just say there’s a good chance he is organizing a cookout out back – and everyone is invited. His dedication, heart and sense of humor keep us grounded, connected, and smiling – even on the toughest days. He leads by example, uplifts everyone around him and reminds us that hard work and good fun can go hand in hand.
Beyond his professional role, Craig is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He has been happily married to his lovely wife, Debbie, for 30 years, and together have raised three children. Craig treasures time spent with his family and grandchildren, and enjoys fishing, camping and being outdoors.
