We made butterflies to go with our spring theme this week. This snack allowed us to:
•follow directions
•try something of two textures
•describe in a phrase or sentence (i.e. color, shape,how it feels,tastes,etc.)
•sequence

Try this at home with your littles🫶🏾 it’s easy, fun, and inexpensive ✨ I mean fruit loops and marshmallows are always a win right ?☺️

Our friends made “bunny snacks” as one of our Easter activities 🥕

This activity allowed us to target our sensory goal of trying something ‘crunchy’ & language goal of following directions with a recipe and describing🐇

I mean who doesn’t love Goldfish, Cheez-Its, and Cheeto puffs right? Try this at home 🧡

On today, April 2, we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day! Breaking barriers those with autism face daily in the world, creating inclusive spaces, and generating opportunities to learn about neurodivergence.

It’s about that time of year to start making arrangements for summer break! ☀️🗓️

We are excited to announce the dates for our 3rd Annual Articulation Summer Camp. Our summer camp provides enrichment focusing on speech sound production and intelligibility strategies. The group setting provides opportunity to enhance social skills and build community with peers targeting the same skill area.

Camp is 3 days a week for 3 weeks! Led by highly skilled and certified pediatric speech language pathologists.

What? St.Patricks Day themed Respite Care
When? March 14 from 5-8pm
Where? Say It Sow location in Huntsville
Why? Providing short term relief for caregivers, allowing them to rest, attend to personal needs, or other matters while your child receives fun and specialized care by speech language pathologists

This month’s focus is on basic language concepts (i.e. auditory comprehension, WH-questions, spatial concepts, etc.) with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Respite nights provide a safe, engaging space where your child can grow socially and enhance skills while having FUN! Our sessions build community,...

We ❤️AAC!

Augmentative Alternative Communication is another method to communicate without verbally talking! High tech options as seen in the video is a speech generating device. AAC is a great tool for my nonverbal lovelies ❣️
