Timberwwood Lodge took the residents and family members out for a fish fry lunch at 5Th Quarter restaurant in Verona. Everyone enjoyed the outing. It was also our first trip in the new van.

Timberwood Lodge Assisted Living is seeking an Administrator who will oversee the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring high-quality care and services for residents while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This will not be an office job. We are looking for a hands-on Administrator to join our team, aid the staff and step in when necessary. We seek someone who has a vision for our future and will help us as we grow. This role involves managing staff, coordinating resident care, ensuring financial stability, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for residents and their families. Timberwood Lodge Lake Mills and Timberwood Lodge Madison joined together for an outing at the Lake Country DOCKHOUNDS, a professional partner league baseball team located in Oconomowoc. It was a beautiful day for a ballgame. Our day included a caravan of vehicles, lunch in the clubhouse with other fans, and all residents were given a Dockhounds hat. It was a beautiful facility and a memory the residents still talk about. We had about 25 residents and family members attend the game.

Timberwood Lodge has a facility in Madison and Lake Mills. We provide vital Assisted Living and Memory Care services to both communities. Our facilities are nestled in residential areas where we strive to provide a home like feeling for all of our residents. We offer a variety of services including medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, meal service, laundry, transportation, and activities. All of our rooms come furnished and include a 50" TV and stand. Incoming residents may either use all of our furniture, none of it, or mix and match. Our facilities feel home like, not institutional. We are privately owned and not part of a large corporation.

• 7102 Timberwood Drive in Madison. The Madison facility is licensed as an 8-bed facility. We have been serving the Madison community since 2018.

• 510 Owen Street in Lake Mills. The Lake Mills facility is licensed as a 14-bed facility. We have been serving the Lake Mills community since 2022.

Our smaller size allows our caregivers to get to know the resident and discover what their individual needs, requirements, and personal likes and dislikes are. This allows us to personalize our cares for each resident.

Benefits of a Small Assisted Living Community

PERSONALIZED CARE
A smaller community gives the staff the chance to spend extra time with each resident. They’ll become familiar with every individual’s personal preference, personality, and needs. This will translate into individualized high-quality care, keeping each resident comfortable and healthy.

FEELS LIKE HOME
One of the best benefits of a small assisted living community is the home-like atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to mingle in the common areas with each other, the staff, and family members or sit back and watch tv with their friends just like they would in their own home.

ABILITY TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER RESIDENTS & STAFF
With fewer residents, there is more time for them to get to know each other. They’ll all eat together, participate in daily activities, and talk with each other often. This environment creates a tight-knit community which helps residents make good friends they enjoy spending time with every day.

COST EFFICIENT
The majority of the time, small assisted living communities are more affordable than large ones. Smaller communities may not offer as many amenities, but that isn’t a priority for many residents, and they may prefer to be in a home with fewer people.

When you choose an assisted living facility for your senior family member, take into consideration the location. You’ll want to find a community close to your house if possible, so it’s easy for you to visit multiple times a week. In the end, you’ll have to determine the size of the facility based on the needs of your elderly loved one and which type you think is best for their individualized care needs.
