In early recovery we need to take care of our health which has oftentimes tragically gone on too long unmanaged. This is why we have developed a partnership with grant funded Weiss Family Care. They have a mobile unit that can come to where the patient is to provide free STI/STD testing and TREATMENT. The nurse practitioner works magic in providing low-no cost treatment medications. If anyone needs this contact please reach out and I will gladly pass along the information. Let’s do all that we can together to help those that we serve!!!

Today I had the distinct honor and privilege of attending Judge Hundley’s drug court precedings outlining the docket and was amazed. I have never seen a more compassionate and understanding staff and providers gathered together in support of the community I love.
Treatment providers, Recovery residence operators, social workers, attorneys, prosecutors, and various support agencies all gathered together in therapeutic support of the men and women suffering from substance use.
NOT PUNITIVE!!!
Therapeutic solutions delivered with compassion and understanding.
This court understands the disease concept. I am overjoyed to see the shift in the justice systems approach. They deserve celebration for the good good work they are doing.

This is what’s possible through continuous support through partnerships within community. Only together can we effect change. Grateful that the Archway can play a small role alongside these incredible partnerships to help these men change their lives. It’s always like coming home when I get to visit Longleaf Recovery Huntsville!! The quality of care, the empathy and compassion from the staff are unmatched. They consistently go above and beyond to serve those seeking recovery.

The Archway Recovery Residences is officially adding another apartment this week to meet the demand from treatment providers and community referrals.

Less than one year ago we opened our first unit. Since then, the community has continued to trust us with their people and that’s something we take seriously.

To support the growth, we’ve brought on two Resident Managers and expanded our programming infrastructure. We’ve also updated our website to better communicate who we are and the mission we’re building here in Madison and Huntsville.

Every new bed represents a new life rebuilding. Every referral represents a family’s hope.

Thank you to our referral partners, treatment providers, probation officers, courts, families, and alumni for believing in The Archway.

More will be revealed.

Today I had the opportunity to tour a mother through our facility and introduce her to The Archway brand of recovery. Afterwards she sent me this message:

“To Archway staff-I just wanted to personally thank you again for taking the time to meet with me today. I left feeling truly encouraged and impressed….. not only by how beautiful and well run the facility is, but by the heart behind it.
The way you explained everything so clearly and honestly meant more to me than you probably realize. It’s evident that this isn’t just a business for you…. it’s a calling, and that carries weight.
As a mother, it gives me peace knowing there are men like you who are willing to pour into others using what you’ve overcome yourself. I’m deeply grateful you would even consider my son, and I truly appreciate your time, your transparency, your compassion. And thoughtfulness to speak with Ronnie’s probation officer to even get him possibly expedited over there!
Thank you again. What you’re doing…. JUST KNOW, IT MATTERS!”

Today our Program Director had the great fortune to tour Magnolia Ranch and Genesis Detox with the incomparable Kim Lamar!! What an incredible facility with a phenomenal mission! So grateful for their time and the effort they put in to serving our community!
