It is National EMS Week when we recognize and thank emergency medical service providers for their vital contributions to public safety and emergency care—and seek ways to support them as they experience critical incident stress. James Small, Rural EMS Outreach Manager at WORH recently penned this powerful and insightful piece about his own struggles with critical incident stress and how he sought treatment.
