🧠 Did you know that children’s brains are most receptive to language development in the first 5 years of life? This early brain development influences a child’s ability to establish important skillsets such as learning language, self-regulation, social-emotional behaviors, and problem solving.

Parents, we know that you are constantly hearing conflicting information regarding what’s best for your child. Trust us when we say, EARLY INTERVENTION IS KEY! 🔑

If you have ANY concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development, research has proven that early intervention is instrumental and is supported as best practice! The “wait and see” method is outdated, with research overwhelmingly supporting that early intervention in young children is not only effective, but is a strong indicator for improving speech, language, and literacy development as they get older. Targeting literacy and language at a young age is associated with improved school performance, including alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, reading comprehension, & print awareness.

Starting speech therapy earlier (when appropriate) is not only effective, but it leads to better communication outcomes. ✅
